About AWAKE
AWAKE is an open source design and creative platform which is based on global sourcing, superior engineering and existing mature brand distribution networks. This platform invites the world's top design talents and original design manufacturers to build creative solutions by upcycling scrap parts.
Problem
AWAKE was invited to join the Frankfurt Motor Show which took place from 12 to 22 September 2019 in Frankfurt am Main.
An official AWAKE website which can target 3 goals:
1. Show its value proposition
2. Show all products information and photos
3. Show its contact information for further communication
Platform needs to be covered:
1. Mobile - Users will scan the QR code displayed in the booth
2. iPad - Team members will introduce the product and future strategy with iPad
3. PC - For further communication in future
Traget Customer
For IAA, there are mainly three groups of customers:
1. Internal Daimler business units who will be the potential customer of AWAKE.
2. External investors/company who will be interested in cooperating with us or investing us.
3. Industrial designers who will be our potential design partner.
Research
After comparing tens of websites of industrial product design and furniture manufactures like Kartell, Bose, Natevo, Jardan, PORTA ROMANA, Apple... we decided to follow the rule of "LESS IS MORE".
Since in the first version, the core function of the website is to show the product information, which means all the design should target for making the product more vivid, at the same time produce less interfere for users and create a more immersive experience for the users.
